- Enjoy this professionally made, manually edited, classifieds directory that's just for Santa Cruz county locals.
- We are a members' only club with warm, loving attitudes towards each other and a desire to live simply. SurfHab vets each member by phone so that you don't have to deal with spammers or weirdos. We are all tired of the lack of accountability that has come from all these automated systems, right?
- If you're mellow or your yellow and you're groovy, you'll fit right in! If you have to harsh the mellow, you may be asked to come back later and try again when you can be cool. If you're a spammer or a scammer or a robot, look somewhere else to be or you might be made into a tree!
Directory Formats
- Club Access - listings with names and numbers
- Surfboard Listings - listing with names and numbers hidden
- Printed Listings - mailed once a month
- PDF download - updated and available on any directory page
- The directory with surfboard pictures, info that you can filter, and names and phone
How To Sign Up
- Each buyer and seller signs up on the Club Subscriptions page. The cost is $1.00 monthly per active listing.
- As long as the subscription is active, your listings are visible. You can be pause, cancel or restart at any time at no extra charge.
- Fun nicknames are allowed and encouraged!
- Everyone is required to be available by phone. What you do after getting connected is your turf.
- Board requests are only inside of the club directory. Board information and pictures are the same on both, but The public directory shows only your first name. The club directory shows your name and phone number.
How Listing & Editing Works
- After signing up, choose from any of the options below. Choose a date and time on the scheduler, then type in your ad and upload pictures of your board.
- After payment is cleared, SurfHab will check it, call you to confirm and ask any questions, then post your listing. Note that SurfHab does not respond to text messages. You are welcome to enjoy full customer service any time - just call and letting us set it up for you! And mailing in your pictures is allowed because SurfHab knows how to be old-school, yeah!.
- Each time you request a listing or an edit, the cost is $7.50. If you plan to be active on this board, you may wish to buy a Club Package deal to receive discounts.
